Augusta, GA (February 5, 2018) – The Turn Back the Block Board of Directors is proud to announce Lauren Dallas as their Executive Director. In this role, Dallas will oversee the non-profit which focuses on the revitalization of the Harrisburg neighborhood.
“I am attracted to the organization’s mission to revitalize the area as well as the incredible support within the Harrisburg community and Augusta as a whole. My first office in Augusta was in Harrisburg so it is fitting that I return my focus to the neighborhood.”
Dallas combines her recent experience in marketing and outreach with past experience in a number of other areas, specifically public relations, fundraising, and volunteerism. She was most recently with Episcopal Day School as the Director of Communications, and also served on the Augusta Sports Council team. She serves on the Leadership Augusta Board of Directors and is a past chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Man & Woman of the Year campaign. In addition to her commitment to the area’s rejuvenation, Dallas brings a passion to improve the quality of life in Augusta.
